Receptionist

Growing up with many animals has led to my passion for animals. I have been working in the animal and farming industry since 2016 and the veterinary industry since 2021. From 2018-2021 I studied a Bsc Hons degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy and have been working as a veterinary receptionist alongside my own veterinary physiotherapy business since. I enjoy spending time with my two dogs Blu and Viv and also interacting with owners and their pets.

Sim, RVN
Veterinary Nurse

I'm Sim, and I am a Registered Vet Nurse (RVN). I graduated from Middlesex University in 2019. I have previous extensive experience working in a 24/7 hospital, and I enjoy being able to immerse myself in all aspects of nursing! I love the diversity of my role as an RVN; from taking care of hospitalised patients to assisting with general anaesthetics and various diagnostic procedures - it's a real privilege to be able to nurse every pet in my care regardless of species and size. I also take my role as the resident Chihuahua enthusiast very seriously! I currently live in Bedfordshire with my own little Chihuahua cross, Ty, who may be small in stature but certainly makes up for this in personality!

I know it can be stressful to have your pet hospitalised at the clinic or in for surgery, so I enjoy being able to provide owners with support, as well as looking after their pet to the best of my ability to make the experience as worry free as possible. I really look forward to meeting you and your pets!

I started off in the veterinary industry at the age of 17, working at previous vet surgery centres. I loved the people, the animals and the life that it had to offer.  I went on to have 2 children so I came out of the vet industry and went into the healthcare industry. I did this for many years and loved meeting and helping different people from all walks of life, but my real passion had always been animals. I have bred German Shepherds for a number of years and this has been a true labour of love. Helping people and animals, I feel, was and is my passion and hope to continue to do this for many years to come. I look forward to meeting you and all your fur family in the future.

Veterinary Surgeon

I have lived and worked in Bedfordshire for nearly 30 years, and bring a wealth of experience together with a well-known reputation for compassionate care that aligns closely with the values of Beltempo Vets. I have a particular interest in cardiology, immunology and management of the elderly patient. I will be working part-time at Beltempo over the coming months.

Becky, BVetMed MRCVS
Veterinary Surgeon

After graduating from The Royal Veterinary College in 2007, I spent a few years working in mixed practice. Since then, I’ve been concentrating my focus on small animals and have a particular interest in small furries and exotics. I enjoy the work of general practice because of the variety it brings and the ability to be able to help patients in so many ways. I have a keen interest in ultrasonography but also enjoy working up challenging medical and surgical cases.

Outside of work, I enjoy exercising and spending time with family; my two boys definitely keep me busy, along with my chinchilla, Barney!

Veterinary Surgeon

My name is Patricia and I am one of the Vets here at Beltempo. Growing up, I have always been surrounded by animals, and so I feel my path to Veterinary medicine was already laid out for me from a young age. I graduated in 2017 in Romania, and have been locuming for the last couple of years, enjoying the variety and experience this has brought to my career. However, I have always gravitated towards Sandy and its surrounding countryside areas, leading me to pursue a role here within the amazing team at Beltempo Vets.

I love immersing myself in the practical side of veterinary medicine, such as surgery, and enjoy being able to improve the quality of life of both my patients and in turn their owners; providing a personable and holistic approach to veterinary care. In my spare time, I like to take pride in nurturing my garden, growing a variety of fruit and veg within my allotment with the assistance of my little helper, Ana, my daughter! I really look forward to meeting you all and treating your pets!

Veterinary Nurse

I started my nursing journey in 2018 and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2022, joining the Beltempo team in June 2024. I always wanted to work with animals from a young age, for as long as I can remember. For me, nursing carries high job satisfaction, due to being a voice for the voiceless as well as being an advocate for their suffering. I enjoy all aspects of my job, but thoroughly enjoy surgical nursing and anaesthesia, hoping to gain an advanced certificate in this one day. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, including my two Bichon Frise dogs, Milo and Millie, and my rescue French Bulldog, Margot.

Head Receptionist

I have been working in the veterinary industry for eighteen years and could not think of anything else I would rather be doing. I enjoy meeting clients and their fur, feathered, scaly babies and making a difference to their experience visiting the practice. I have an accredited level 3 Dog Behaviour Diploma, and I am a registered Associate Veterinary Receptionist AVR. I enjoy gardening and have a bit of an obsession for Dahlias!
