We are a friendly, busy small animal practice in Sandy, Bedfordshire. Our team loves giving high-quality care to pets.

Practice Type: Independent

Facilities: Well-equipped friendly independent practice. Large numbers of clients are currently registering with us thanks to our reputation as providers of compassionate and cost-effective care and treating only when and as much as necessary.

Team: You will be joining a supportive team of experienced Vets, RVNs, and supporting team members. We are looking for someone who has a caring and positive attitude, offering excellent patient care, with great communication skills.

Role: The role is the full mix of veterinary nursing. We actively encourage nurses to fully use their skills in taking radiographs, blood samples, and starting intravenous fluids in addition to the more routine tasks. You will also take care of in-patients, and nurse clinics, monitoring of anaesthesia, assisting in theatre, stock ordering & control.

Hours: The normal working week is 40 hours, Monday–Friday with shifts ranging from 8am to 5pm and 10am – 7pm. Saturday morning are 1:4/5 and this is paid as overtime. No OOH.

Salary: From £30,000 depending on experience
